R+Color Partners With Celebrity Colorist Jenna Perry on Hair Color Range

Jenna Perry is not just a talented colorist; she also operates her own salon in Manhattan’s trendy SoHo neighborhood, where she has earned a reputation as the “cool girl of color.” This collaboration marks a significant milestone as it’s the first time Perry has had a role in product development, where she was integrally involved in the testing and refinement processes of the new hair color line. In her own words, she was drawn to R+Co due to the brand’s natural formulations, showcasing her commitment to quality. “I loved how natural their color line was and I really wanted to be involved in their demi-permanent line,” she shared. This hands-on experience in the lab has been one of her favorite projects, underscoring her passion for creating hair color that resonates with current trends and sustainable practices.

R+Co’s president, Dan Langer, praises Jenna’s unique ability to set trends rather than follow them. He highlighted that the brand aims to collaborate with individuals who are influencing the media landscape rather than merely keeping up with it. In addition to the signature Twenty-Four K hue, the new collection features other captivating shades named Teddy Bear, Shadowfax, Idol, Capri, Midas, Euphoria, Billionaire, Tea Room, and Palazzo. Set to be available for purchase by colorists and salons, these shades promise to offer a diverse palette for everyone seeking a fresh and modern look. Each shade is formulated with key ingredients such as aloe, hydrolyzed protein, biopolymers, and creatine, designed to improve hair texture and provide outstanding color results. With these carefully selected elements, R+Co aims to champion hair health while delivering stunning color outcomes.

Elisa Fischer, R+Co’s senior vice president, emphasizes the benefits of the Hypermatic line, explaining how it empowers both colorists and clients. The contemporary formulation offers a liquid demi-permanent experience with a focus on wellness. Fischer points out that the fragrance-free formula not only provides superior conditioning but also ensures long-lasting results that last well beyond a few washes. What’s more, these products are free from harmful chemicals like PPD and Resorcinol in every shade, reflecting a mindful commitment to health.
