Menopause advocate Tamsen Fadal is stepping into a new role as the first chief women’s health ambassador for Midi Health, a company dedicated to women’s health. With her extensive experience as a journalist and a personal journey through menopause, Fadal aims to elevate conversations surrounding this often-taboo subject. Alongside Fadal, Midi Health is launching three innovative supplements designed specifically to address the challenges menacing women during perimenopause and menopause: a Creatine+ mango lime-flavored gummy for muscle and cognitive support, a Daily GLP-1 Support capsule to alleviate the side effects of weight loss medications, and Berberine+ to promote healthy weight management.

Fadal, who spent 15 years as a broadcast news anchor at WPIX, has emerged as a prominent voice within the menopause community. After experiencing her own life-altering symptoms—heart palpitations, hot flashes, and brain fog—Fadal sought medical guidance and received the blunt diagnosis of “menopause.” This wake-up call spurred her to leave her job and dedicate herself to educating women about menopause, particularly as an estimated one billion women worldwide may be navigating this life stage by 2025. In 2023, during a pivotal meeting with Midi Health’s founder, Joanna Strober, Fadal recognized a shared mission to demystify menopause and make information more accessible to women.

Both Fadal and Strober have witnessed an emerging interest in the topic of menopause, with Fadal playing a vital role in cultivating community and understanding among women. “Joanna understands the need for accessible information,” Fadal noted. Strober echoed this sentiment, highlighting how Fadal’s insights help forge connections with women, allowing them to comprehend their bodies better. Their collaboration intends not only to provide products but also to create a supportive platform where women’s stories and needs are recognized and validated.

In her new position, Fadal’s goal is to normalize discussions about menopause, ensuring that younger women are informed even before they enter this stage of life. She’s clear that the journey doesn’t end once menopause arrives; women continue to have needs and questions that deserve addressing. Strober emphasized Fadal’s role in educating women on exercise, supplements, and care options during this transition, all while aiming to make Midi Health a trusted source for women’s healthcare needs.

The launch of these new supplements is grounded in the feedback from nurse practitioners who have heard firsthand the challenges faced by women during menopause. According to Strober, each product has been meticulously developed in response to these inquiries, indicating a commitment to filling gaps in the current marketplace. This makes the partnership between Fadal and Midi Health not only complementary but essential, as they work together to elevate women’s health knowledge.

Looking ahead, Midi Health plans to expand its offerings further with a prescription estriol eye cream and vaginal cream expected in 2026. This aligns with their mission to tackle prevalent concerns associated with menopause, such as brain fog, muscle loss, and weight gain. With Tamsen Fadal on board, Midi Health is better equipped to transform the narrative around menopause, ensuring women feel empowered and informed during this significant life transition.
